When some small business owners hear the terms tax consulting or tax planning, they cringe-knowing that their present tax service might use those terms as just words, not actions. But, with the right conditions, (and the right firm) tax consulting and tax planning can mean tremendous tax savings for the small business owner.

For the past 40 years, our firm has put those two terms into action. We strive to help our small business clients increase profits, while at the same time, decrease taxes. In July or August, using the client’s actual business records, we prepare a projected tax return—with an approximate 85% certainty of their potential tax load for the year. That way, our clients know their current tax situation in July or August, and not have to wait until December! No tax surprises!
